When Trying Times Arrive

When trying times arrive, what will you do, My children? Will you trust Me to get you through when you do not have enough food to eat? If you have no shelter from the chaos? When it seems the entire world has gone mad? When loved ones are taken from this world, will I still be your beloved?

Be careful there are no conditions on your faith in Me, lest the devil steal it from you, and you lose your crown.

Proverbs 27:12 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Job 1:21  And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

Ephesians 5:6  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

James 1:12  Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

  1. I'll always remember the story of footprints in the sand. The story is about someone struggling with life and feeling abandoned. That someone cried out to Jesus and asked where were you when all these things were happening I was all by myself..Jesus answered the one set of footprints where mine carrying you!Living life with Jesus in our lives will still be difficult but life without him will be impossible, trust me on that one! When things get bad remember Jesus will carry us through!May the Precious Blood of Jesus cover us all!Amen.

  2. Hi Glynda. Since I already share all of your words from the Lord I had an idea. I'm a videographer and I thought it would be nice to make a video with one of your words from the Lord of choice that you feel lead to or want to and I'll shoot a short video of landscapes and clouds ect... With cinematic music and have the word from the Lord scrolling upward on the video. Let me know what you think. my email is herbold-2@hotmail and my name is Nathan Herbold. I would love to do it and even more if we are led. I did a video for a new church recently and I'll send you the link if you'd like to see it. This would all be free of course I want the words og God out there :-) God bless.

  3. WOW. I read the first few chapters of Job today and the message is the same. May we do as Job did and trust in God no matter what.

20 Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head, and he fell to the ground and worshiped. 21 He said,

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked I shall return there.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
22 Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.

    -Job 1:20-22

  5. God must be FIRST in all of our lives! Family second, then job. If that happens, you will never forget to acknowledge HIM with prayer from the minute you awake until you go to sleep. Apply Matthew 16:19 & Matthew 18:18 in your life & over your family and never forget the power of the 3- prong prayer (I think that's what Glenda &/or her friend called it) as well as Psalm 91 protection.
Since January mine & my husband's job changed dramatically and it was done at our choice. We went from elevated $ positions to working in the jail system. Wow, we have seen GOD move in the jail not only over inmate's hearts transformed but other officers who desperately need the Lord- see a difference & a change occurring. The keys of the kingdom (Matthew 16:19 & 18:18) are applied every single day...binding every evil, unclean, demonic spirit, etc..& loose the spirit of Love, Peace, compassion, forgiveness, etc... all the fruits of the spirit!)
It works...GOD's word will not return void!! Thank you JESUS!! Holy Spirit you are welcome! People you must know you can change the atmosphere with the power of your spoken words, "calling those things that be not as though they were!" For greater is HE that is in you than he that is in the world!!
Yes, the thoughts may come--but when they do--YOU speak LIFE over your spouse & child...the hedge of protection from God, cover them with the powerful blood of Jesus, surround them with the Holy Spirit wall of fire!! Do not fear...SPEAK THE WORD ONLY! Be about our Father's business (Mark 16) and LOVE ONE ANOTHER!!
*Pray for America & be ready to act, if & when any situation arises that may be evil, for I believe the devil knows his time is short. HAVE NO FEAR---GOD IS WITH US!! HE PROMISED HE WOULD NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US!! **Change the atmosphere...only play GOD's annointed music, read & speak God's word & blessings continually, & Pray Without Ceasing!!
Thank you for having this website Glenda...God bless you!

  7. WE Must all continue to seek the Lord for His transformation. Here in USA we truly as a whole do not understand about grave suffering as much of the world experiences. We can only pray for God's divine enablement(grace) to endure the future. Much of our present Christianity is a warped American translation if discipleship. The Prosperity name it claim it gospel has put the focus on riches of the earth and not the riches in Jesus Christ. All of us must ask the Lord to purge our hearts of mixture and to reset our hearts in the Kingdom of God. We must become passionate for our Savior. He will have a bride of His kind. He will prepare us for what we have to face. Yield to His will daily so He will increase and you decrease. He is faithful and He will help us and prepare us. Stay close to the Cross and don't allow fear of the future to overtake your heart. Give it to Him. He will strengthen us to difficulties.
    Press on to know Him
    Blessings, Thea
