Preparations

I have knowledge and understanding I wish to impart to My children for the coming times. Endeavor to include time alone with Me in each day, My children, that you may fully receive all I have for you.

Your busy lives often keep you far from My presence, and this should not be so.

NOTE: In my spirit I was shown when He spoke this about our busy lives that this is an enemy tactic, and one of the ways he steals from us.

You draw near to Me when you are in need, but what of the other times?

If you wish to be prepared for what is coming, come aside with Me now.

Psalm 119:105  Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Matthew 6:6  But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Matthew 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Luke 10:38-42

38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.

40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

  1. Thank you for sharing...I am working on consistently setting aside time to study God's word and pray. I want a really genuine relationship with Christ and I want to be consistent in every area of my life. I usually just study what interests me or what I need in the moment...but consistency is so important. These verses...I've kept coming to them several times a day to renew my mind. So I'll write them in my journal so I can study them on my own.

This reminded me of something I read during my Bible study..

    John 1:26 (NIV)
"“I baptize with[a] water,” John replied, “but among you stands one you do not know."

John the Baptist was talking to the Pharisees who had made their lives very busy trying to find God through busyness and rules. But Jesus the giver of life and peace stood among them...and they were too busy to know him. That gives me shivers. Jesus is among us and we struggle on our own without even noticing him...sometimes we are in misery, caught up in trying to fix life on our own...and the answer is always right there. When you posted the word about letting go...I neglected to completely let go of the people and things that were not helping my life...so the past couple of days I've been cleaning up and really seeking God. Anyways the thought that God is always there...is intense..it gives me shivers knowing he is so near and all anybody has to do is turn to him. Anyway, I know if I quiet my heart I will eventually feel his overwhelming presence in my life.

Continue to pray for me and those around me.God has showed me where he wants me for now, he wants me to go back to a place/situation I was last year and not be afraid...to trust him this time. Even though I know what to do...I still am working on trusting God every moment...hopefully I learn this very soon. I miss resting in God's love...I should have done my spring cleaning when I was supposed to. If anyone reads this and feels uncomfortable about people /things in your life...please don't hesitate to obey God and clean them out!! God is trying to help you...and if you leave those things their it will rob you of peace...and you'll get to a place where you have to put your life on hold and start cleaning before you can go forward.

  2. As I read the word today the Lord, like a loving father, gently reminded me that the crazy chaos that has over taken my life is a direct result of not spending enough quiet time with Him. I am a busy mother of four, with an unsaved husband, and working in ministry. Lately things seems to be spinning out of control. Try as I might, things keep getting more and more behind. After I told the Lord I was sorry and would do better, He showed me this was why I am having this bottomless pit of ineffectivIty. Of course God understands how busy I am. Nothing I'm doing is wrong, but when you are engaged in spiritual warfare, you will get attacked if there are any little cracks for the enemy to use. The enemies plan is effective, because the more behind you get, the worse you feel and the more delayed you become. God showed me this chaos will stop once that crack is filled. Once this area is covered the demonic cycle of delay, chaos, and frustration will stop.
Thank you God for the reminder
Thank you Glynda for being obedient

  3. I was pondering what is heaven and hell - then this came to me. Jesus said, why do you call Me good . . . only The Father is good. Everything we think of God -- as in the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control -- are what we will be surrounded by in His Kingdom. This fruit will emanate out of each of us. Can you imagine a world like this?

So that means everything NOT of God will be left over for everyone not in His Kingdom. Imagine a world where there is not one bit, not one iota, of love or joy or peace or kindness. That is hell --> total absence of God, the Father, Jesus, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

If we think things are bad in the world now, what will it be like when every spec of God is removed? That, I believe, is why God calls us to tell of Him and His Kingdom. People can not really understand what a world without God will truly be like.

People may think they do not want God - until they get what they wished for.

  7. Sorry, Superman, that I did not look up the exact quote and record it properly. That was not the point I was making. It was careless of me and I apologize. Of course, Jesus is God. And we are called to be like Jesus - as He was while on this earth. Jesus is now at the right hand of the Father in His fullness as God.

  8. @ Nann

Excellent interpretation...I have often wondered what the world would be like without the Lord's presence in it-dreadful thought.
